Re: Playoff picks?

Well, so far I'm 1-3 in my predictions but then again who wasn't? So here are my brilliant insights for this week-end:

Colts at Chiefs: I think the Colts right now are the better team, but the extra week off plus home field advantage for the Chiefs will prove too much for them to overcome. KC 34 IND 27

Cowboys at Rams: I think the Cowboys right now are the better team, but the extra week off plus home field advantage for the Rams will prove too much for them to overcome. LAR 24 DAL 20

Chargers at Patriots: I think the Chargers right now are the better team, but the extra week off plus home field advantage for the Patriots will prove too much for them to overcome. NE 27 LAC 23

Eagles at Saints: I think the Eagles right now are the better team. Actually, I don't. However, Nick Foles is a spazzy unpredictable kind of guy who seems unaffected by the quality of competition and the pressures of high stakes competition so I think it will be a close game. NO 21 - PHI 19

One page back. I will go with the Pats.

I think all the home teams should win this week though I will be rooting for the Chargers and think they have a good shot.

The Rams are the best team in terms of not going three and out. The Hawks are the third worst. That's the big difference now between these two offenses that both want to run first and then throw deep. The Hawks need to be more like the Rams in terms of running and throwing out of the same sets. This makes the Rams unpredictable whereas the Hawks tend to be completely predictable.

Looks like the Pats are being the Pats and Chargers and the Chargers and I'm about to go three-and-0. I can't imagine a scenario When the Saints lose so probably 4-0.

Why? Because the Eagles had a chance to drive for the go-ahead TD with under 2 minutes remaining and if Alshon Jeffrey catches a ball right in his bread basket they have 3rd and short around the Saints' 20 yard line.
