Don't discount Hurricane/Tropical Depression Michael heading that way. After Monday the forecast in Boston looks pretty good though. Gonna have to dodge some rain on Saturday and Sunday.

Instead of treading Neidert for Gordon we could have used him as a piece in the Yelich trade. Instead we got to watch Ichiro, Gordon and Heredia try to hit the ball out of the infield so JD can seem clever and savvy. And guess what I get we get to watch those three slappies try to hit again this season.

Which is why they should hand out vaseline instead of bobble heads for the fans.....

Probably a million to one odds of him hitting a bomb off Kershaw there.

Woodruff is only the second reliever in the past 94 years to hit a playoff homer, joining Travis Wood in 2016. He became the first left-handed-hitting pitcher with a playoff homer since Rick Sutcliffe in 1984. Woodruff is also just the third hurler to homer off Kershaw in the lefty's career, and the first to do so as a left-handed hitter.

Miley is two for two. If we’d kept him, he could pinch hit for Zunino.

Turner got all of that.

Brewers BP has not been as effective as I hoped.
