Crawford

Postby D-Trains on Mon Apr 15, 2019 1:57 pm

For all those that hated the Segura for Crawford trade, he is hitting .326 with almost a .900 OPS in Tacoma.

btw an 18 yo kid is pitching for the Rainers right now. First ever appearance in the US. Curletta hit his second bomb.

OT read this in the paper today. So do you thinks the Cowlitz county Sherrif's office dates back to the 1840s or 1850s or does the writer think the 19th century is the 1900s?

The shooting is believed to be the first in-line-of-duty death in the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office’s history, which stretches back to the middle of the 19th century, Sheriff Brad Thurman told The (Longview) Daily News.

The area around Longview was first settled in the mid 1800s - 1850 to 1860, somewhere in there. So, it's possible they're correct in their statement.

Wow, I just couldn't a envision a sheriff's dept there 10-20 years before the Civil War but maybe so. Talk about Wild west. Thanks.

Pretty encouraging start from Crawford. He should be an upgrade defensively from beckham if Beckham goes cold. Shed Long and Braden Bishop are raking up as well.

Damn Gilbert has pitched 9 innings, given up 3 hits, 1 walks and 14 Ks. Doesn't get much better than that.

Swanson is our new 4th starter. Told you guys that he would probably be the most underrated prospect that we got this winter.

Thanks for starting this thread, Darren. Yeah, I found the Tacoma stats and Arkansas stats this morning also. Very positive start for Crawford, Long, and Bishop! Also Evan White is over .300, although Kyle Lewis has had a terrible beginning, which is really sad, but it is a long season. Dom has been just ok, Curletta not great but with two dingers today maybe things are looking up for him. I hope Terry and Rocky can keep us up to date on the minors this year.
