By Pythagorean they should have been a 77 win team last year. They have lost about 12 WAR from the big league club with the moves they have made. I don't see any way they win more than 70 games and even that will take a bunch of guys having bounce back seasons or breakout years.

Agree. And bounce back from the likes of Healy, Vogey and Ichy are not gonna be enough

Yeah, bounce backs to zero WAR probably not going to move the needle. Though VB actually was at 0.1 WAR last season.

We would have the 8th pick if they finish in line with those over unders. So if we pick a HS kid in 2020 he "might" be ready to help the team in 2025, about 6 months after Trump completes his second term. Exciting.

You and your Beavers. :) AT is going to be torn. Pretty sure he is a Beaver fan but I doubt he will be excited about a college pitcher with a top 10 pick.

If we pick up a #2 starter, then over. If not...

Under, I think Encarnacion is traded, and possibly Leake as well. Bullpen will blow way too many games to get to 75. I'd guess 70 wins right now not knowing the final roster, but could go up or down by about 6-7 wins.

If no moves made, that would be a tough line to bet though. 75 seems about right.

Reminds me of the Seahawk forum about 5-6 months ago when most of the predictions were coming in at 4-6 wins.

Too bad Dipoto and Servais don't have half the talent evaluation and coaching skill of John and Pete.

Yep, amazing how most people completely disregarded that and were sure it was a 4-6 win team.

I think I made the gutsy prediction that the Hawks would win anywhere from 4 to 10 games. Thank god they choked against the 49'ers to prove me right.
