And there ya go. Elijah Hardy made a layup to make it 80 - 64 and then Jason Crandall got a defensive rebound for the Huskies to end the game and seal the deal.

It's Final!!! 80 - 64!

They keep fouling Timmins and he's sunk 4 straight freebies.

Sam has also been hauling in offensive board down the stretch and just got a steal. Less than a minute.

His D has been the difference. He's just a load in there and he seems to have finally figured it out.

I think Dickerson is injured. He looked gimpy after the game shaking hands.

You must be right. He's certainly looked puny on the stat sheets the last few games.

ASU is on a 9-0 run to begin the 2nd half, now lead 40 - 22. They win and Dawgs have 1st place all to themselves in the Pac-12.

OSU fought back furiously to the final seconds and got to within 3. ASU held on for the 70 - 67 victory.

Washington Huskies only undefeated team left in the Pac-12.
They play again Saturday at home - 2:00 P.M, Golden Bears in the house. I'll be working so will miss it entirely.

Listened to the Husky game on the radio. They led start to finish. The players discussed here negatively for some time, Crisp and Timmins have been stepping up big in recent games.

They were dragging Wash. down for a while and deserved the criticism but what a turnaround lately. Hopkins is getting the group to a point where they're jelling as a team.

So enjoyable to see.

Huh, I didn't know. Here's the scoop about the 6'7" guard from Winnepeg:

Bruce Pascoe - Arizona Daily Star - Jan 15, 2019 Updated Jan 16, 2019

Arizona coach Sean Miller confirmed Tuesday that sophomore forward Emmanuel Akot has quit the Wildcats, saying he told the coaching staff on Sunday after they returned from their Bay Area sweep of Cal and Stanford.

Miller said Akot will stay in school and plans to transfer at the end of the spring semester. He did not take questions about Akot's motivation or the timing of the move, which leaves UA with just three post players at midseason.

Akot could not be reached for comment.

Senior point guard Justin Coleman, who was brought to UA’s weekly news conference, said Akot told the team his reasons for transferring, but said the team would keep them private.

Akot started 11 of 17 games for the Wildcats, averaging 3.8 points, 2.8 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game. He appeared in danger of losing minutes or possibly his starting role with the emergence of sophomore Ira Lee, who made several key plays down the stretch at Stanford on Wednesday.

If Akot leaves in good academic standing at the end of the spring semester, he will only cost UA one demerit in the Academic Progress Rating, which measures both retention and academic eligibility from semester to semester.
