And isn't that the irony of all ironies. They abandoned the focus on athletic achievement to focus on TV money and media and even that aspect of things is a complete joke. And the lack of exposure makes the recruiting worse which makes the talent level worse which makes the value of the TV rights fall. This Ponzi scheme Scott has created isn't sustainable, eventually it will implode on itself and they will have to start from scratch with a few rebuilding years just to get to mid major level.

A website that doesn't update standings in real time and you have to wait a day or two like it is a God Damn hard copy newspaper. That sums it up right there.

Even the hard copy of the paper updated all but the 8 PM tip offs.

And this site, which can't control spam, can update the standings online.

You will get your revenge after a few more years of global warming when you have some nice ocean front property and we devolve into the nomadic people of Water World that Kevin Costner had to battle. :)

After today's win (Sat., 2/2/19) the Dawgs are 19 - 4. With the 2 wins this week, let's see what is afoot with the AP Poll rankings for week 13. I'll start at #15. I'll even include #11 Kansas.

It's going to take a lot of east of the Mississippi votes to get into the top 25. A lot of AP voters need to open their eyes and hearts to the Huskies.

#11 Kansas - (972 points) won 1, lost 1 - now 17-5
#15 Louisville - (658) won 1, lost 1 to #9 North Carolina, 16-6
#16 Texas Tech - (561) won 1, lost 1 to #11 Kansas, 17-5
#17 Purdue, (532) won 1, record is now 15-6
#18 Buffalo, (468) won 1, lost 1, 19-3
#19 LSU, (435) won 1, lost 1, 17-4
#20 Iowa State, (327) won 2, now 17-5
#21 Maryland, (280) won 1, lost 1 to #24 Wisconsin
#22 Mississippi State, (236) lost 1, won 1, 16-5
#23 NC State, (203) lost 2, yes 2 losses, they should drop out, 16-6
#24 Wisconsin, (179) won 2, beat #21 Maryland, 16-6
#25 Florida State, (141) won 1, record now 16-5

Others receiving votes:

Auburn, (85), won 1, 14-6
Cincinnati, (76), won 1 and have won 7 in a row, 19-3
U-Dub, (75), won 2, 19-4
Kansas State, (73) won 1, now 16-5
Oklahoma, (41) lost 2, 15-7
Iowa, (28) won 1, over #5 Michigan, 17-5

Incidentally, in the Coaches Poll, the coaches have UW in 32nd place and behind Kansas State, Ole Miss and Oklahoma.

fwiw, #12 Virginia Tech beat #23 NC State today by a score of 47 - 24. That's right, the North Carolina Wolfpack only scored 24 points. They've had three games scoring 100 or more, four games with 90+ and six games in the 80's. Just wow.

NC state should offer fans a refund after this..........

RALEIGH, NC – The NC State men's basketball team shot 16.7 percent in falling to 12th-ranked Virginia Tech, 47-24, on Saturday afternoon inside PNC Arena.

Despite a poor shooting first half, the Pack only trailed by six points at halftime, 20-14. NC State hit its first two field goals of the second half to cut the Hokies advantage to 22-19 with 18:35 to play, but the Pack only managed one more made field goal for the rest of the game.

NC State shot just 13 percent in the second half and finished the game 9-of-54 shooting. No Pack player reached double figures as CJ Bryce led the team with seven points.
