Aaron's latest commentary hits it out of the park YET again: http://q13fox.com/2017/11/12/commentary ... y-council/

Meanwhile, I didn't have a problem with the seats at the Key but apparently some people do: https://twitter.com/BringBackSonics/sta ... 2659139584

Scroll down to read Brian Robinson's response (yes, THAT Brian Robinson, who has become a Key supporter, drawing the ire of a good majority of Sonics fans). Wow, an additional four inches between rows!? Sign me up, I'm in!

Four inches isn't even enough for Mr. Pennis. :)

I didn't realize that about Brian Robinson. I guess he read the the same Silver article that Don Gorgon did and figured if you can't beat em join em.....

Pretty much, and actually, the entire staff at Sonics Rising has become Key/OVG supporters as well: https://twitter.com/sonicsman/status/930653538497175552 (scroll down to Hatton's response)

Onto better news, Creighton has lost!: https://twitter.com/ChrisDaniels5/statu ... 6253551616

Wow, makes you wonder if Sonicsrising got a little somethin somethin from OVG. A couple hundred grand would be a drop in the bucket for those guys to buy some PR.......wow........what a saga.

HA, actually, a lot of Sonics fans on Twitter believe that is the case, although obviously there is no proof this. Still, I haven't been to SR due to their pro-Key stance. What's funny is that they held a poll a couple months ago about which arena option they chose. At the time, everyone from the SR brass picked "Sodo first with Key as an alternative". My, how things have changed since then. However, Brian is also on the Key Arena Advisory Panel so we can't be surprised if he's biased towards the Key.

This was Aaron's response to Brian's answer when asked if the Key's RFP was handled well: https://twitter.com/AaronQ13Fox/status/ ... 7332793344

John Creighton with some parting shots towards Sonics fans: https://twitter.com/ByRosenberg/status/ ... 6017447936

I would say he's a bit bitter for losing, don't you think? :P

What's going down tomorrow: https://twitter.com/KING5Seattle/status ... 7218163712

Interesting indeed, Chris: https://twitter.com/ChrisDaniels5/statu ... 5701948416

So OVG said the Monorail could be an option to get to the Seattle Center and yet, this amendment prohibits any spending for improvements that it badly needs!? You. Cannot. Make. This. Stuff. Up.

At least Sodo is making a pitch for a two-arena solution. Still in it but I have to admit just barely.

What F-ing tool. Yeah only rich people go to basketball and hockey games. And those poor working union longshoreman all make $100k a year doing a job a McDonald's worker could do with all the OT they get. And again, zero proof that the SODO arena would cost the port a single job. What, is China going to stop shipping goods to Seattle because there is traffic near the port???? I guess they will only ship to LA because no traffic in LA. Can't make this nonsense up.

If I were the POS, I'd more worried about their counterparts in Tacoma and Vancouver instead of a non-used, glorified alley in Sodo.

Well done, Sonics fans! Let this be a lesson to those who oppose Sodo, the casual sports fan has a much bigger voice than they thought.
