Well the 2019 class just got a whole lot better - newly committed Tuitele is now the highest rated recruit in the class. Along with Bandes, now have the top 2 DTs on the West Coast! guess last year's miss on Tommie Togaii is long forgotten. Really stacked on D in this class now with the stud DTs (2 others beside), a solid MLB, a pass rusher or 2 (depending where Turner plays), of course another corner, and a bevy of decent rated OL. With all the depth added at DT, i think Taimani and/or Sama Paama can now move to OG to be the inside road grader we havent really had since the glory days of the James era.

The depth is starting to look real good on both lines so I'm just anxious to see these guys play and see what the 2019, 2020 teams can accomplish with Eason at QB and the talent up and down the roster.

yes, very exciting. Still think they could use one more dynamic playmaker on O, like we thought we had with Chico before he got hurt. The redshirt Lowe is supposed to be grooming for that role, but my Portland source doesnt think much of him. (paging Kyle Ford, do you copy?)

No. I have heard for two years now how Ahmed is a game changer, but that is either false or we don't know how to use him. Either way that worries me. The other two seem like "just a guy" to me.

That being said, if Trey comes back our line should be good, so that will help. Not to mention with Eason slinging it to the weapons we will have at WR and TE I would hope that the guys next year see a lot fewer loaded boxes than we are used to.

If our line play turns out to be as good as we expect then remember the old addage: The team that controls the yard on either side of the football usually controls the game. Now if they can just block and tackle we might be in business.

It depends how you define "good to go at RB." I mean are the Huskies going to have the kind of backfield that Alabama or Georgia has right now? No.
That said, if we think of "good to go at RB" as the UW 2016 performance [Reminder: Gaskin 1373 5.8 avg 10 TD Coleman 852 7.5 avg 7 TD Dotson 260 4.5 avg 1 TD] which was about as good as it gets for UW, I don't think 2019 will be too far off.
I think Kamari Pleasant is on the rise and will be the featured back. Ahmed will be the clear 2 utilized in a multitude of ways and then McGrew and maybe Braxton getting some time. Given how good the OL should be next year, plus the downfield passing game, I think the run game is going to be better than what you would think just on the surface.

Hey, guys! I am a newbie at the Husky Football. May you please describe the rules for me?
I have a sports background: before was playing tennis for 3 years, ping pong for 6 months and Pickleball (look here https://www.pickypickleball.com/) for like a year. Will it be helpful while I'll be going into the Husky Football?
