So Trent McDuffie is expected to sign with the Dawgs... supposedly he's told members of 247 that he's given a silent verbal and will announce soon.

Huge get. Kid is really good.

Yeah, I saw that Lake just popped by and had an in-home with him and he told the recruiting insiders that it was "awesome"

He's a short kid, slot player which is always good to have but I can't help but scream out WE NEED SAFETIES JIMMY!! I hope we land one or two before the class is wrapped up

I'll believe it when I see it. Though I just learned today that Ford was also at Servite HS when Keith Taylor, Julius Irvin, Trent McDuffie and Terrell Bynum (I think) were all there. A lot of former teammates and friends putting on the purple and gold, baby!

have you seen the SC class now? ranked 28th! will rise a bit when they sign McCoy, but they also already show multiple receivers committed. So figuring they sign McCoy, plus all the current WR commits, plus their poor outlook with Helton still at the helm, and i really cant see the wisdom of Ford going there too. plus the connections you mention - i think it's gonna happen.

Georgia picked up some good recruiting news Saturday.

As confirmed by DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell, defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse committed to Georgia. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect from Stone Mountain, Ga., becomes the first commit for the Bulldogs’ Class of 2020.

The news came hours before Georgia was scheduled to kick off against Auburn in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The Bulldogs enter the game with an 11-1 record. A victory would send them to the College Football Playoff.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I get the competitive nature of these kids but you know SC is stacked at WR, why not go somewhere where there's a little less of a log jam and significantly better QB play, offense?? Come up to UW where you're going get top of the line coaching and elite QB play. Oh and you'll be playing big games on the national stage, going to Rose Bowls and Playoffs.. just look at the track record!!
