Michiganders gettin' death-rolled by Gators in Peach Bowl

Postby rockycola on Sat Dec 29, 2018 1:28 pm

The CHICK-FIL-A PEACH BOWL is Florida gobbling the Wolverines and spittin' out Chick feathers.
34 - 13 with 7 minutes left in the 4th qtr.

UPDATE! With 5 minutes left, Michigan's mounting a comeback as they blocked a Florida punt for a safety. 34 - 15 now!

I grew up in Michigan so of course was a Wolverine fan but it's just so hard to root for them while Jim Harbaugh is the coach.

HAH! On the ensuing play Florida intercepts a Michigan pass for a TD. 41 - 15 now!!!

Couldn't happen to nicer teams (U$C and Michigan). Pac-12 showing well, so far. Be nice if the Dawgs could pull one out against THE Ohio State (as if there was another). Can you spell pretentious?

Not concerned with the Bottom Feeders in the Pac-12. If Utah, Whoregon, and Washington pull out wins, we'll look a lot better than the guys from the Upper MidWest, who are typically overrated.

By the way, a recent quote from Utah's Kyle Whittingham talking about College Football Playoffs:
“I would love to expand,” he said. “I’ve been a proponent of that when they announced four. Why not eight? Why not 16? I think probably 16 is the best number. I think eight is very doable. There is no reason not to. I don’t think there’s any way it won’t happen in the next few years. I really do.”

It would certainly make college football a LOT of money.

The Zeros put up zero in the first half. Stanford manages 7 in 3 quarters. :|

Ha they both won by a point. If Utah hangs on Larry will have the fake news wing of his media company bill this as one of the greatest days in Pac 10/12 history....

Well, Utah won the game...if you throw out the third quarter! And Whoregon with only seven points? Bizarre!

Cal only scored 7 points as well in their loss. P12 is 3-3 right now. If we win to will be a vast improvement over last season but still not exactly impressive.....

Looks like no matter how we fare today, the Big Ten will be ahead of us. Time to shovel a little doggy fertilizer onto the Buckeyes!
