Watch the Romar dominoes FX on Metro!

Postby insidejob on Wed Mar 15, 2017 10:46 pm

Working on in depth chapter/article on this drama.

Many obvious factors in place now ...

PORTERS fly the coop AFTER LoRo's priming/hiring
of Pop's P was blasted into oblivion.

BROY won't consider coaching PJ and limited NH posse
unless he procures Marvin Bagley or similar ilk; he ain't
rolling with the spirit fingers of Justin Bieber.

So then what?

Haskins is nudged aside and BROY rolls back to the crib across
from Ezell's and starts shuffling keys to a bushel of new transfers
afraid to coach his own like all the Metro power honchos.

It's a pathetic joke, people.

Fans and legit coaches have seen enough. If Bellevue and Sealth
Girls were derailed, the unmitigated transferring/recruiting/cheating
has run its course. The Truth is out there. Their house of bicycle
cards will be exposed.

Love your posts and insights. Hope what you say comes true about league and its people? District AD needs to go. Hope the story about him and his deeds come out. If the truth comes out, the deeds of city basketball are as bad as rural football on the Eastside minus the money!!!!

The football program at Garfield has gotten very
shady since the hiring of coach Thomas.

The rumor mill is going nuts from what I have been witnessing in the Seattle area.

There are talks of certain private school kids going public...
There are talks of certain prominent national prep school kids coming to WA...

What the hale.

What is the District AD supposed to say?

Their job is to support building Athletic Directors. If the school's building AD says transfer is legit, are they supposed to undermine them?

They are FAR worse and have been for years. Imagine a starting football lineup made up almost entirely of seniors who were not at the school the year before.

If some number between 11 and 22 new starters emerged on the scene for essentially one season of varsity football, and it was Glacier Peak, Seattle Prep, Mt Si, Blanchet, Skyline, Issaquah, ABM or the dreaded Bellevue or Eastside Catholic and it culminated in a state championship, the WIAA and Seattle Times would be calling for a massive investigation and criminal indictments. These schools would be spared nothing, but raging headlines and proclamations by Colbrese, even if every transfer was legit.

Applying WIAA rules, using common sense, adverse PR and scrutiny by other metro coaches is muted at best. Hints of foul play at Beach, Garfield and Hale is like touching the third rail.

Biggest question for the off-season is who will have a better recruiting class Beach, Garfield, Hale or UW.

Garfield has been a cesspool for years. You do recall
the bogus Spanish class approved by Principal Howard for Tony Wroten and other basketball players. Word got out and the Times did right a article but nothing happened. Why would SPSD allow
Howard to remain principal for a violation so gross?

Fact is the Garfield Athletic Director has been taking
booster money for years and Howard allows it.

How about be a leader and do your JOB!? Thomas at Garfield was the master plan. Make one school the star for SPS with great academics, music and arts, with a great athletic program. Only problem. B Roy went to NH and that all changed. Adult egos, student athletes are the pawns. It will be interesting to see what happens with Hale basketball.

So in doing some gumshoeing, sounds like Noah Williams
was headed to WS but I guess their treasure chest didn't
have sufficient doubloons, i.e. wasn't on par with HALE'S
free living accommodations.

Also appears Pierre Crockrell will be joining the Hale recruiting class.
He was at a CA. prep school LY and is from Tac-town.
He is regarded as a high major talent, 5'11 PG.

BROY is just warming up in the BP down in the Cactus League.
Am awaiting the out-of-state RINGER to blow Bethea and
Haskins (if he stays) into the Mekong Delta. It will come in
the form of the 5* big they will desperately need now that
Jontay has left that wonderful Raider environment to embrace
his 3rd HS in three years. Oops, I mean 3RD home school addy
where he can do 2 hours of mom face time and then work on his
FTs, treys, and jump hooks the other 5 hours kids are going to
and fro school and shifting in uncomfortable desks.

Working hard on a lengthy chapter to include in my next book
while enlisting many successful HS coaches to contribute who
are fed up and sickened by the WIAA lack of institutional control
to bring a single 'said' foot down.

Will keep updating info as it comes in and announce publishing
date of book as well.
