Nice to see the interest in the latest shenanigans ... my guess ROY stays at Hale IF PJ stays and the rumors of possible Garfield players coming to Hale. Sounds like rats sniffing dry rot down at Ezell East. Petty be smart to stay away too, altho the Canine Compound would find a way to bring CJE along off the waiver list.

The chapter is progressing nicely, getting coaches to weigh in!

Sadly only a handful of cheaters (coaches), school admin and WIAA HIEARCHY look the other way thus allowing the quagmire of manipulated chaos to reign (over 40 years now) and ruin a true competitive balance.

The best coaches don't win bc they are adept between the lines, au contraire, it's the antithesis.... OUTSIDE their boundary lines they are lurid sharks swimming nonstop to update their rosters!

The same way transfers for athletic reasons slide
past the athletic director and principal.

The metro coaches, Sea-King and WIAA have accepted the free-agent signings at Beach, Garfield and now Hale in basketball. Its now beginning at Garfield in football and its unlikely to change. ST, and the governing bodies do not want to touch the subject - ditto Uriah. Writers, local sports radio and announcers doing the tourney games are fearful of mentioning the large scale transfers, its far easier to do the feel good story of BROY without mentioning the $300K rent a family for a state trophy. As long programs like Bellevue, EC and ABM are out there, these governing bodies can still big game hunt and claim the high ground. Let Metro do their own thing and don't touch the third rail.

I heard Garfield is getting as many as 30 transfers in for their football program. If true how is that even possible without raising red flags?

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!! WE NEED ALI OR
RAEFER JOHNSON TO CARRY TORCH!

So latest word, CJ ELLEBY to Beach ...

backstory: One of my favorite and best players I ever
coached, who knows both Petty and Bethea, told me
a couple years ago... "Coach, Petty told me if RB ever
steals one of his players he informed Bethea he will find
him and beat him up."

Octagon here we come!

Ironically, I had a convo with Ed Haskins when he first
got his job at Garfield, and he told me over a long
phone call that, "Mike (Bethea) knows not to touch
any of my players. We got a truce on that."

Not long after Will Dorsey beats Lakeside in the state
finals and garners MVP after leaving the Doghouse and
ending up on Crawford Court.

the beat goes on....

Anyone that has anything to report on shady Metro
League recruiting contact Mike Baker at the Seattle
Times.

Baker phone is 2069634489.

Why should Bellevue have all the fun. Metro league
Athletic Director McCurdy needs to be held accountable.

There are reasons certain schools never get touched
and it's driving the righteous coaches out of the game.

The Metro League is a friggin' carnival and the scum honchos
just whistle and look the other way.

Inside,

Please share your knowledge of the Metro League
cesspool with Mike Baker at the Times.

Mike did a great job taking down Bellevue.

Interesting bill working its way through legislation SENATE BILL REPORT SB 5583, might be interesting for Baker to work. Has to do with the State expanding oversight of WIAA and the application of penalties having to proportionality. Includes a note around a student not being penalized if they did commit the infraction and a sentence around transfers. Colbrese is opposing the bill. Sounds a lot like previous legislation passed that is largely ignored by the WIAA.
