Goodlatte presses Strzok on his removal from special counsel probe
Strzok tells Chairman Goodlatte that he never felt it necessary to recuse himself from the Russia probe over his personal beliefs. He told lawmakers that it was his impression that his removal was based on the desire to avoid any appearance of potential bias.

Strzok, however, was adamant that his text messages were "not indicative of bias."

"I did not think that bias was exprsed in those text messages," he added.

Strzok said that it was impossible to say that "people must not have political opinion, everyone does, of course they do, the test is if that is left behind when they do their job.

There's not a defense lawyer in the country who wouldn't love this evidence. He mentions Trump by name and how awful he is.... says that Hillary should have won by a million to one.

Bias doesn't even describe the situation.

I trust you two were able to secure a hotel room to finish each other off properly.

Strzok was brilliant. Today he became an all-time great American.

I applaud his performance and his beliefs. We must speak up against Trumpism.

Strzok has the signature smirk of an arrogant establishment lib. He convicted himself of contempt. Both kinds.

Its a glimpse of that part of America where all the over paid curtain climbers are or think they are a law unto themselves. That never ends well.

Its also a glimpse of what the President has to deal with 24/7. A veritable war declared on him from every quarter.

Brett Kavanaugh........as the former President would say: 'Its your time'

That's a good point. Strzok is the poster boy for this whole debacle. The attitude. The obstruction. The refusal to give up information even though Congress is entitled to the information.

And that smirk... smug is the most fitting adjective for Strzok at the moment. He didn't lessen the charge of bias against him. In fact, he expanded on it. When discussing one of his text he launched into a near tirade about how awful Trump was to the gold star Khan family. Again, reaffirming his bias and anymous towards Trump.

A small percentage of people will be like Jack and Bo and hear Strzok talk just like they do and forgive it. But they're not high ranking FBI officials trying to take the president. Most Americans see what's happening now which means the Mueller probe's days are numbered.

You know who else had that smug, arrogant, "I'm smarter & better than everyone else" demeanor when he testified?

Crooked Rosenstein. That guy is most definitely the swamp & he is absolutely involved in these phony investigations & the attempted cover up of the cover ups.

Strzok is doing the right thing by any means necessary. This is a very critical and pivotal time in our country's history especially regarding human rights and ideals. Trump is bad for America, period. Anything to get him out of office is justified, legal or otherwise. We know Trump got into office through bullying, lies, scandals and likely numerous violations of US law. Strzok is just calling it like it is. Trump is an asshole and the most inept person ever to be in the office of the Presidency.

Mr. Strzok, thank you for saying how the majority of this country feels about Trump.

Play on, boys!

Strzok will be fired soon. His testimony yesterday was a national embarrassment.

Man... that seems painfully clear now, and yet is the media reporting the truth? NO, not even Fox by 50%. We're living in interesting times for sure, but also scary. The DOJ has gone rogue. Strzok's smug bullsh*t was the perfect representative of the whole crew. They all have his attitude. Who are they kidding?

But the stakes can not be bigger at this moment... shall we say YUGE? Rosenstein had to respond after the Strzok debacle yesterday. Let's keep in mind that he's already been threatened with contempt and/or impeachment if he didn't hand over the goods on the FBI spy operation. That deadline was July 6. Rosenstein again stonewalls. He can't hand over the documents because they will reveal that spying started in Decemember 2015. We know this because the DOJ leaked information about the spy that can only be Halper, Clinton ally and former CIA asset.

Trump is set to meet with Putin on Monday. Look at what all the Dems did today, demanding that Trump not meet one-on-one with Putin. Trump has been active on the wolrd stage, but he's yet to have a concentrated sit down with him.

The Dems are screaming bloody murder because they don't want Putin to give Trump information. What could that information be? We know it's not about the election, because Putin didn't hack our election. Not only is there no evidence of Trump collusion, there's no evidence of serious Russian involvement either. No, what this is about is Uranium One. Putin ran a bribing scheme that included payoffs to US officials that included the Clintons and many other people. We know this because there was an FBI investigation that was squashed by guess who.... Rosenstein and Mueller.

The difference between Judiciary Committee hearings and a typical court proceeding is this. Congressional hearings are political by nature and a court of law is legal. The former can lead to legal charges but seldom does. Yes, Congress has oversight into all the workings of the Government, But the best they can do is get someone fired by the political exposure that Hearings provide.
It's not that there isn't a plethora of infractions committed daily by the Alphabet departments......the departments that Congress unconstitutionally funds. It's that there is no unity of truth among them. There is no definition of purpose and a congruent discipline of restraint. Once a CIA, FBI or DOJ enjoin the ambitions of political power and exist practically independent of their original purpose....all bets are off. They function for self interest and not necessarily for national interest, let alone justice.
The weight of decades of unrequited abuse and waste is the weight of the Establishment. And there's an unhealthy contentment in the city lined with gold. We watch and wait.

I kinda think the reason Strzok hasn't been fired yet is because he is known to the public as the main player in this disgraceful phony investigation, but in fact he has dirt to spill about those above him, but by keeping him on at the bureau, they can control what he says, just like they did at this recent democrap clownshow. "You deserve a Purple Heart". The democraps have totally lost it.
