Caravan

Or should I say "invaders"?
What's your take on all this?
I can't figure out what's going
to happen at our border.
Doesn't look good.
Saw a video where some had
expensive iPhones and were
using them from the border fence.
And another fellow came over to
the fence and gave the finger.
Boy, I sure want people like that
in America!
All younger men, maybe one or
two women in that group.

It's all fake news, honestly. Immigration has been a thing and a problem for centuries. It is nothing new. Trump and his cronies basically said nothing about the invasion after the mid-terms. It's a hoax. You don't have anything to fear other than the Trumpism that continues to spread like a nasty disease.

What exactly is a hoax? There were three caravans organized that totaled over 20,000 real people heading towards the border. Nobody disputes that fact. We have video evidence. And last week over 600 people from the caravan were captured trying to enter the country illegally.

You guys act like Trump went down to Central America and paid these people to start marching north. These people were organized and paid to go north, promised different things... for sure. But do you really think Trump had anything to do with it?

No, Trump didn't have anything to do with it but he certainly played the situation like a fiddle and exaggerated as much as possible to drum up fear and everything else. Normal political stuff but on the wrong side of good and bad, IMO.

The media characterized the caravan as just women and children looking for a better life. Obama joked about the caravan -- that they were hundreds of miles away and posed no threat at all.

*DHS today said that over 500 members of the caravan are criminals.
*Over 90% of the caravan is made up of military age men
*Over 6,000 members of the caravan have now arrived at the border and are stuck on the Mexican side.
*Mexicans in Tijuana are now protesting against the caravan, demanding that the Mexican government do something about it.

This is another incident where the left manufactures a crisis only so they can blame Trump for the crises. That's what you're doing. Turn off the propaganda media and start using your head.

Bo is just repeating the lamest talking points we've heard out of the left to date. They manufactured this crisis themselves. They organized and paid people to march north, and then paid for an army of NGO lawyers to work on getting them in the country.

But it's Trump's fault. There's no real story. Thousands of people are not already at our border. It's a hoax.

The media wants people to ignore their lying eyes.

OK, 500 "criminals" south of the border coming to rape Mother America's fertile soil? Is that really a top, top concern or priority? What about the hundreds of thousands of criminals actually in our country and US citizens--why don't we focus on addressing the systemic problems there instead?
Oh dear, 6,000 refugees in Tijuana. I'm so scared. Racist white polygamist families in Utah probably birthed 6,000 new burdens on our economy last week. This is simply absurd.

Back to the general topic, we have thousands of higher priorities to address in America than border control. Here's a few:
- health care. so many issues here, costs and quality and complexity
- education - cost issues, access, provisions
- public transit - Seattle good example
- homelessness - Seattle good example, suspect Moe Gibbs is one of 'em
- opiods - major epidemic
- mental health - maybe even more so than opiods, how do we better address the mental health crisis in America
- income inequality - top 1% continue to prosper and the rest remain stagnant. It is time for a changeover and the good old boys club days are done.
- sexism and racism AKA Kavanaughism and Trumpism
- foreign relations - we are the laughing stock of the developed world with Mr. Trump in charge. fact!
- decriminalization of marijuana - would reduce crimes, etc. HawkBowler would be benefited from smoking a bowl.
- GUNS. major problem and need to adjust 2nd amendment to only allow small pistols and hunting rifles with a 6 month purchase/licensing process.

.... thoughts?

I think most of you Trumpers will instead desire a "wall" which is undoubtedly the most stupid idea of all time and was a fake image to get ignorant voters to go Trump. Wall will not happen, sorry guys.

You do realize that every single argument or position you have ever taken on this board is 100% rooted in conspiracy theory? It's mind boggling really.

Zero conspiracy theory on this one. The caravan is on tape and you're calling it a hoax. LOL...please.

Also, if you know that a conspiracy has taken place and the authorities are not giving information, it's okay to engage in conspiracy theories. What choice do we have?

BTW, the term 'conspiracy theorist' started after the JFK assassination. Anyone who didn't think that Oswald acted alone was crazy. Funny because during the 2016 campaign, Trump said that he would absolutely release ALL of the records on the assassination. And yet when Trump was presented with the information he decided to punt until 2025 when he knew he wasn't going to be in office. We found out that Oswald met with the Kremlin in Mexico about a month before JFK was killed. Nothing to see here.

Putin's Puppet is a false conspiracy theory.
Kavanaugh the teenage gang rapist is also a false conspiracy theory.

The media loves conspiracy theory now. They've also figured out a new platform -- the speculative conspiracy theory smear. Just tune into Rachel Maddow any night of the week... IF Trump did this and IF Trump did that... well then, he could really be in trouble. Do this over and over, as the media has done, and you condition a negative attitude towards Trump and anyone associated with him.
